About the Day
On 9 September 2017, the Bundesplatz will become a lively meeting point for all. You are warmly invited to the European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation (EODD).
What do we want to achieve with the EODD?
We want to use this day as a chance to talk with lots of people. We want to learn what you think about organ donation and to answer your questions – in short: we want to talk about organ donation.
We also want to give a big thank you to the donors and their families who have gifted many organ recipients new quality of life and often also the chance to keep on living.
Not least, we want to show our appreciation to the medical professionals and everyone else active every day in their commitment to organ donation and transplantation.
What can you expect?
Under the direction of Stefan Büsser, we have put together a varied programme with concerts, street food, information stands, political addresses and an attractive social programme.
Your decision counts!
Take some time to think about organ donation and make up your own mind, then record your decision and talk to your loved ones about your wishes. With your help we can reach our target of getting 100,000 people to make a decision about organ donation by the EODD. Click here to find out more about our live ticker
